What is the Way of the White Stone?
The Way of the White Stone expands on the original journey of early Christians who followed Jesus the Christ as “The Way.” In light of Revelations 2:17, we embrace the Way of the White Stone as a means of reclaiming and walking the same path in a post-evangelical age. It is a call to step into a new identity and way of life. An exodus from confusion and distortion into clarity and renewal.
Better Responses to Hard Questions
So often, instead of genuine guidance, the people we trust most to answer our questions about God and our place in the universe offer shallow replies or well-meaning words that never really touch the deep ache or mystery we feel. Worse, some simply tell us to have faith, as if faith means shutting our eyes to questions.
Thankfully, doubts and questions are not enemies of faith, but invitations to walk deeper in. This site is dedicated to exploring better (not perfect) responses to some universal questions that touch us all.

I am a deeply flawed but aspiring follower of Jesus Christ; a husband, father, layman, and former evangelical energised by the pathfinding potential of a Christ-centred way of living I call the Way of the White Stone.
Opening a copy of C.S. Lewis’ book Miracles in the Auckland University Library in 2010 became the start of a deep dive into an ocean of theology and philosophy, a sifting and sorting of what it means to be a follower of Christ.
The words you find here carry the ideas and wisdom of countless thinkers, some centuries old and others brand new. Their insights have been measured and integrated here by a single standard of faithfulness: they are rigorously grounded in the person, work, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ.
For many years I searched for answers, and I began to uncover a consistent set of responses scattered among countless sources. I came to see what was missing—a way to gather and share this wisdom in plain terms instead of scholarly treatises.
What began as years of notes, reflections and highlights became letters written from a father’s heart, first intended as a gift to my daughter, to guide her through the trials and dangers of this world. Now shared with any who cares to read them because they are seeking better responses to hard questions.
